At Blouch Performance Turbo, we are never satisfied with status quo. In our opinion, not innovating is equivalent to moving backwards in the performance turbocharger market. With this in mind, Blouch Performance Turbo took another look at the already stellar performance of the Dominator 3.0R and applied state-of-the-art technology to make it even better.
The first thing we did was address turbine inlet pressure with a superior flowing and better fitting turbine housing than the already successful 8cm2 design. We settled on a 10cm2 design that could be applied to both our journal bearing and ball bearing Subaru products. In order to ensure that quality control meets our standards and we have flexibility to serve our customers, the Blouch 10 cm2 castings are machined in-house on our own CNC equipment.
The next area we addressed was compressor performance and the decision was made to apply our already successful fully-machined billet compressor technology to the Dominator 3.0R. The result is a stonger yet lighter compressor wheel that looks awesome, but more importantly outperforms conventional compressor technologies hands down due to superior aerodynamics.
So did we meet our objectives? You bet we did! The new and improved Dominator 3.0 XT-R is unparalleled in Subaru bolt-on performance with quick spool, great boost control for a nice broad flat torque curve and 550 crank horsepower capability while maintaining a standard 2.360" compressor inlet dimension without any compressor surge. Only at Blouch Performance Turbo - don't settle for anything less!

- Great turbo, make 410whp 411tq with stock intercooler. I know numerous people with the same turbo making over 500whp+.
no words can describe this turbo... but i bet i can find a few :);
- WOW is only word that comes to mind really. This is an amazing turbo for any sti lookin to put down some 4**+hp numbers to the wheels with great spool up for this size turbo! Pretty simple install for the most part(took around 4 hrs or so); with very little fitment issues. Until i receive my new APS fmic inthe mail from Josh :); ill be alot happier. TMIC's make it super tight between the turbo and the throttle body(electric style only); but have about 1/10 inch between them. Whenever the fmic, big MAF perrin intake, and gimmick inlet arrive ill re-review this with the numbers i make.
