Its pretty Perfect
- Easy easy install if you have a way of putting car up. Sounds amazing and smoother flow on my stage 1 map on 08 WRX hatch.
Best bang for the buck
2009 WRX premium hatchback, love this exhaust.. deep, throaty and mean sounding. Not overpowering. Crusing around in the city you definitly get the "Boxer Rumble", on the highway it doesnt drone, the exhaust is notable while cruising, if you accelerate it definitly comes back alive.
For the price you really cant beat it!
Install Notes: I did need the Kartboy XL exhaust hangers, and the flat gasket did not work between the Stock DP and FMS midpipe, had to reuse the stock doughnut gasket with 5/16 x 1.5 bolts (longer than stock). Based on other reviews i had purchased the extra bolts and Kartboy hangers prior to the install.
Buy this exhaust
- I bought this exhaust for my 08 impreza 2.5i and it bolted right up to the stock cat pipe. As mentioned in another review I did have to buy two 5/16" botls, nuts and washers for the stock cat flange but not a big deal. The fit is perfect. the hangers all lined up perfect. It sounds great. Not over powering inside.
more than expected
Have had this installed on the car now for about a month and still sounds great. Does not drone you out on the highway but when you get on it you will definantley turn heads. The only reason i marked it down was due to the hardware supplied for install. If using a stock downpipe or Cobb dp your going to need to hit up the hardware store due to the oem hardware not being long enough and the supplied bolt for the kit being too large for dp flange.
I would definitely recommend this exhaust!
