The FiD EVO VIII/IX Turbo Kits sets a new standard by which all other kits are judged. Designed to be the first bolt-on full stainless steel v-band turbo system. This kit ultilize race-inspired v-band connections for all exhaust components. The v-band designed allows for easy removal and maintenance, especially in racing environments such as road racing, time attack, drag racing, and even day-to-day street use.
Our efficient tubular header and merge collector design promotes quick spoolup, efficient wastegating and maximum power to take full advantage of the Garrett dual ball bearing GT turbochargers as well as the Precision billet wheel turbochargers that we offer in full v-band turbine housing configurations.
We also raise the standard in tubular equal-length manifold design by utilizing the unique 3D CNC machined billet 304SS head flange. The head flange features a 3D transitional ports (oval to round transition) with counter-sunk port opening on the front to provide strength and support for the welded runners. The backside of the head flange features a machined cut-back to help minimize warpage during welding and promote better gasket sealing. The head flange is fully decked for flatness prior to machining as well as after the manifold is fully welded. This is the only way to ensure a perfect sealing surface for the exhaust gasket. In addition, the manifold is fully Tig welded and all connections are 2-pass welded and fully back-purge to eliminate any chances of joint fractures.
Our v-band turbo kit is designed to bolt-on to our full 304 stainless steel modular v-band exhaust system or an any exisiting exhaust system with our optional v-band test pipe. With our exhaust system and turbo kit, you'll have a true race-ready v-band exhaust system from the turbo manifold to the exhaust tip. No more leaking exhaust gaskets or rusted exhaust bolts. This is the highest quality kit on the market for the lancer evolution VII/VIII/IX, period. The kit comes preassembled with the turbochargers mounted and pre-clocked.
