This version is known to get rowdy, and may be too much for many. For that reason, this particular version cannot be returned due to sound preference. Prepare yourself.

We made it easy to convert from a Track Edition to a Touring Edition, or vice versa, if you decide at a later date to turn it up, or turn it down
Tip Options:
All tip options include the AWE logo and double-walling to ensure a mirror finish even under hard usage. All tips are individually adjustable, allowing depth into the bumper to be set according to personal taste.

Had an R400 but I was tired of the drone. Got this and it's so much better sounding! The tone is just right, I can actually have a conversation while driving down the interstate now and the cracks and pops when shifting are *chefs kiss*.

I have my exhaust paired with the GS catted j-pipe.
The exhaust sounds even better than anticipated! It has a deeper rumble than stock. Very little drone, even at highway speeds, but the exhaust really opens up when you punch it!
The reason for the 4 star rating is that everywhere I looked, whether here or AWE's site, never made any mentioned that the exhaust tapers down to the stock 2.5" diameter at the union with the downpipe and requires the use of the donut gasket. I needed to purchase the Grimmspeed 3in downpipe to stock catback adapter (P/N 077044) in order to complete the installation.
Loud when you want it to be with no drone at cruising speeds or highway speeds. Easy install. I put it on my 2017 wrx as a first mod.
Ordered this as the first modification I did to my 2018 Wrx. The only thing I would like to see changed is the slip joints. They help for final adjustments but I some issues with exhaust leaks. Overall great product and sounds amazing with my Grimmspeed catted jpipe
So I have been searching for an exhaust for 2 months now. Kinda hard to buy an exhaust without really hearing it in person but I decided to pull the trigger on the AWE Track Edition and I am more then happy with my decision. This exhaust really bring outs the boxer rumble and gave me that aggressive sound I was looking for. Install was a breeze, took me maybe 45 min. from beginning to end. The GrimmSpeed adapter for my stock down pipe to the new exhaust fit perfectly and the quality was unbeatable. Thanks to IIR for the the awesome service when I had a shipping issue and the price was untouchable. Will definitely be ordering my fuel system upgrade and down pipe from them.
