I'm usually a K&N Intake person but not seeing one for the VB WRX made me do some research and found AEM to be the most beneficial and smooth. Install was pretty standard. Sound is great. Seems to be a great addition and the tune is going well. Looking forward to seeing what this and other items will do to help boost performance.
Got this intake installed with a TurboSmart BPV and got the car Protuned to a solid 326WHP. The fit and finish is great and install was a breeze. My only compaint was the thin aluminum on the pipe got dented in transit and required a bit of hammering to get into round and there's still a decent dent on the elbow, but it's not visable and doesn't impeed performance.
This intake pairs great with a turbo smart bov tons of turbo flutter
Easy install and it introduced a very nice “whooshing” sound 👍🏼
