This short shift lever is built for performance without compromising comfort. It installs easily, replacing the OEM shift lever on your Subaru WRX with no modifications required to the surrounding console. The re-engineered lever reduces shift travel by 30%, giving you a shorter and crisper shift experience as you row through the gears. The shifter height is shorter by almost 2 inches and is also positioned closer to the driver by half an inch, putting the shift knob in a much more comfortable position, all while retaining full functionality of the reverse lockout.

The shifter and collar itself is designed & manufactured in Boomba's facility, right here in the U.S. and all mounting hardware are included. All shift levers are precision CNC machined black oxide billet steel and high quality delrin for maximum strength and durability. Very straight forward install. Can’t say this enough but the most important part to installing anything under your car is to be able to get it off the ground. That being said I love this shifter it feels very smooth and the throws are very noticeably shorter.

Best bang for buck non performance wise install was a bit tedious but wasn't hard. The shifting is night and day difference from stock STI short throw.
Paired with the boomba weighted shift plate, brass bushing, Perrin shift stop, and GS stubby weighted knob my car drive 100% different and I love it. So much more precise shifting and short throws. Very mechanics feeling. Install was easy beside my stock shift sun assembly being stripped from the factory no fault to boomba. Without that issue install would be right around 2 hours
And I got Quoted over 500$ from a shop to do it

If you love banging gears, and want to do it a bit faster (who doesn’t like it faster) you need this. Makes the shifter more crisp!
The throws are so much shorter and feels so much better! I recommend getting the shift plate, you won’t regret it! And looks so much better than the stock shifter.
Good buy . Subaru makes it hard to install though
