Everything i could want in a shift knob, it’s a good feel and a good place holder till i get a short shifter. Good quality Cobb never misses.
This is ergonomically friendly and sits very well in the hands
The Cobb Tall Weighted Delrin Shift Knob fells nice in the hand and adds a hot knife thru butter feel to the shifts; however, the tall knob is too tall for me on the stock shifter. I do not have a short shifter/kit. The tall knob makes engaging the reverse lock-out awkward. It also put the top of the knob higher than I like as I am smaller in stature and sit a tad closer than most. I have a BW Ti lightbulb in place of the OE knob. Action wise, the Cobb weighted knob feels better than the BW Ti knob.
I paired this with a Billetworkz short shifter, shift plate, bushing, and shift stop. It feels perfect and raised the height of the shifter to a comfortable level while providing some extra leverage when shifting.
Meh. Not very comfortable. Puts a bit to much pressure against the Palm of your hand.
I added this shift knob to a mystery STS that the previous owner installed. Adds enough weight and height to find my gears. Definitely recommend!
This shift knob is nicely weighed and feels/looks fantastic. It's a bit lighter than the factory knob, but that's a good thing in my opinion.
Weight and feel of the shift knob is perfect on the OEM shifter for long arm drivers. Easy, one minute install adds a lot of fun to the drive.
I just installed a short throw shifter and shifter plate and the amount of force I had to put on the shifter was aggravating. The Cobb shifter gave me a little bit of extra leverage as it's a bit taller, even though it is slightly lighter than stock. The finish is smooth and the shape allows grabbing it from the top or the side. Surprisingly it was not very cold in freezing Temps. Looks sweet too
I wasn’t sure how much of a difference it would make since the stock shifter knob was weighted also - but man I really like the Cobb shifter knob makes a considerable difference !
