The COBB catback exhaust for the WRX & STI does not deviate from the factory emissions equipment and conforms to the SAE dictated 95-decibel exhaust noise level limit enforced by California, as well as other states in the US. This system is modeled after the stock factory exhaust fitment locations, therefore making it an easy direct bolt on item inclusive of all needed gaskets and hardware.

Would definitely buy from them again, and my wrx sounds like a wrx should now. Was gonna get this cat back from rally sport direct but I’ve read reviews on this website and I haven’t found a single negative one. Again, great people here at IIR. Thanks guys. 2003 wrx wagon, bolts right up to stock 2.5” down pipe. Comes with necessary gaskets but I’d recommend picking up the donut gasket where the down pipe and cat back meet for like 18 bucks. Fitment is great, quality stainless, and a sleeperish look but also sporty. Not super loud, but loud enough to be very fun. Super fun to rev going through tunnels and things like that. Quiet when you need it to be, and roars when you want it to. Great product. Worth 700 in my opinion. The only thing is that with where I live shipping was like 25 dollars extra but again it came quick and in good shape.
