What is a ProTune?
A protune is a specialized tuning service offered by Import Image Racing in conjunction with CT Tuning, designed to optimize performance and enhance driving capabilities with your stock or modified vehicle. It is a software modification that adjusts various parameters within the engine control module, to deliver improved power, responsiveness, and overall driving experience.
The primary objective is to unleash the full potential of the engine while maintaining reliability and durability. This process involves modifying parameters such as fuel and ignition timing, boost pressure, air-to-fuel ratios, and other variables that influence the engine's operation.
Furthermore, a protune can help maximize fuel efficiency. Although the focus is primarily on performance gains, the tuning process takes into account the vehicle's fuel economy, ensuring that the modifications do not excessively compromise fuel efficiency.
This map is for TWO fuel types such as Pump 91 AND 93 gas, Race fuel AND E85, or 93 AND E85.
THIS IS NOT FLEX FUEL! Dual fuel maps require changing the map within the Accessport to accommodate the proper fuel added to the vehicle. For example, if you normally run pump 93 and want to add E85 for a sporting event or track day, you must select the proper E85 tune within the Accessport at the time the fuel is introduced in to the vehicle.
ATTENTION: You are purchasing a Cobb Protuning map/file ONLY. Your car must be running correctly prior to installing aftermarket parts and this MAP. If your car has mechanical problems, you are not entitled to a refund. All parts listed when you purchase the MAP are the parts that the tune is for. There is no adding additional parts once the tuning starts.

Once CT Tuning receives this information and creates the file, they will provide you with your custom protune map, instructions, and walk you through the process of loading the ecu map and fine tuning based on data logs.
Please note: COBB Accessports are available to purchase separately and are vehicle-specific. Certain markets and transmissions are not currently supported and will cause an error. Both the custom protune and accessport must be for the same vehicle. Make sure that your vehicle is supported prior to purchasing this service.
This is a completely different car after this tune. And his response times were amazing! The car runs so much stranger and way smoother than my previous tune.
Clark got my car feeling like a whole different car now, car pulls like a freight train. Made 353whp on just an e85 tune, intake and charge pipe. WOULD RECOMMEND 50000x over.
The E85 map is great. Saving 50% at the pump!
Clark just finished my 91 map and I’m very happy with the results! My car feels amazing.! In the process of tuning for e85.
Great experience and a true professional. I purchased the dual map tune with 91 and E85 to match my ETS intake. 4-5 data logs per a fuel type and a timely response after every upload. I was on the fence with the Cobb access port warranty issues but so far so good. No check engine lights and I have now used 4 tanks of E85 with no other mods. I daily the car about 55-80 miles a day "or more" with approx. 20k on the car now. This truly is the way the car should have been set up from day 1. Great drivability and so far the E85 has saved me a little as well. I average 280-320 miles per a tank of E85 as compared to around 380miles on 91 and the math works out to 19-20 miles per a gallon of E85. The same driving "80%freeway-20%street" I would get around 24-25mpg on 91oct. For roughly 1,600 miles a month I drive the numbers are as follows: 91 octane, 24.5mpg=65.3 gal a month x$6.46=$421.83...
E85 ethanol, 19.5mpg=82.05 gal a month x $3.60=$295.38... That saves me $126.45 a month. With that said if there is no adverse effects from the E85 my savings will pay for the dual map tune from Clark and theCobb Accessport in less than a year. Just another angle for you guys to think about "or use to convince your wives of a big purchase" . It works for where I live and maybe it will give others an idea of what to expect if you decide to make the change to E85. "and the car is a joy to drive now!". I would defiantly recommend Clark tuning and the Cobb AP.
