ETS FMIC Front Mount Intercooler Core 2015-2021 Subaru WRX

I was very excited to get a front mount installed. Especially one from ETS. I’ve heard great things about them. However, this is not one of those times. It’s a bummer that I have to be the one that gets to put a bad review. The install went well even though you don’t get any instructions regarding the install. Start to finish it went pretty smooth, nothing to crazy. Except the throttle body coupler wasn’t sized correct and the T-clamp was also a little small. Once it was installed the driving temps didn’t change much overall and now (see pic) the stencil is coming off. Today is 1/08/24 was installed summer of 2023. So about three months and things were already coming off. I should also note that I only drive this car on the weekends since I have a work vehicle as my daily. So not much road time over all. I don’t like to post this on iiR website because I’ve always had great customer service from them. Hope you all have a better experience with ets than I did.

Haven’t installed, but everything came as it should and got to my door in 3 days.

ETS makes one of the best FMIC to date, very reputable company and I am glad IIR sells ETS product. FMIC are not much more than a quality made TMIC so if you are looking to make power that is more than 400whp this is a must, if you are thinking you are going to be getting more turbo lag you simply will not.

Front mount fit so perfect and works very well gave me some good power gains from the top mount better iats and smoother power curve name speaks for itself ETS is the way to go if your looking to go front mount

10/10 welds are good looking and it just looks way better, and I also got the Perrin turbo inlet and boomba bpv and it sounds amazing you do have to trim the fog light bezels to make it fit but you can’t even tell once the bumper is back on

It took a while to get it in fitment was a little tight.. a little know how And the right set tools and your God maybe a extra set of hands to make things easier...

Piping is smooth and flows nicely with a beautiful finish. Best quality

Awesome quality intercooler! ETS does not play around with their quality. I am very happy at the price point this product is at and the temp difference is huge over the stock unit. I highly recommend this!
