Everyday Driveability

Research on the racetrack has helped us develop the Fortune Auto 500 Series into a great all-around shock absorber. Using high quality components that meet our strict standards allows us to optimize comfort, reliability, and longevity.

Occasional Track Use

Digressive piston technology allows for stiff low-speed compression/rebound force. This gives more control of driver inputs such as roll, dive, and squat. However, at fast stroke speeds (i.e. high speed bumps) the suspension becomes supple in response to bumps and irregularities in the road for maximum control.

Coilovers for my 03 wrx

Fantastic coilovers! They ride great and handle noticeably better compared to the stock struts. Installation was simple for the most part as these are the first coilovers I ever bought. Staff was very helpful with helping me find the right coils and spring rate.

PERFECT!!!

Some background first. 2003 WRX with 238,000 miles... and a lot of those miles are very hard driving in all sorts of conditions. She gets raced constantly, with to the limit cornering, off roaded weekly, which includes deep mud, large gravel and rock, jumping a foot or so out of creek crossings... and just flat out enjoyed to it's fullest rally heritage

potential! I went though several sets of stock struts. I then went to a set of AGX 2 Adjustable Struts with 1" lower King Springs. Very good buy. Improved handling incredibly. Lasted me 58,000 miles, so about 2 years. When I finally blew a left rear strut jumping my favourite creek crossing I almost bought those again. I decided after hours and days of research to try a set of Fortune Auto 500 Series Gen 7 Coilovers. I'm a professional technician by trade and reading how they're made and tested from their website sold me on getting a set. First 12,000 miles I set the car at 1.25" lower in the front and 1" lower in the rear (that's lower than stock height). Initially like any new suspension they are extra stiff. I feel I broke them in, in about 1,000 miles. First 600 miles or so I took it fairly easy, easy for me, feeling them out and making sure I can trust them in a variety of conditions. From then on flat out. These things are AMAZING!!! For on road driving I tend to run 10 clicks hard front and 20-24 rear. You adjust these as with others from full soft, lefty loosey, then harden them up righty tighty, to be precise.…

Everything you want in a coilover

These cost a pretty penny, but are worth every penny. These are designed to be with you for a long time. Not only do they ride great, but they’re fully rebuildable so if there’s an issue just send it back to Fortune for repair. The customer service at Fortune is A+ and they’ll go out of their way to get things right for you.
