The Group N transmission mount is the next step up from OEM. Think OE + when you consider a Group N product for your car. This transmission mount has a harder durometer polyurethane that'll help firm up the slop that the WRX is notorious for in the drivetrain/shifter areas. If you want to get rid of the slop, but don't want to have insane NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) that you'd get with a solid mount, this is an excellent choice to improve your driving experience! Pair this with a set of Kartboy shifter bushings and you'll have the ultimate shifting WRX.

My old mount definitely needed to be replaced, however, I thought I might feel a difference with the stiffer mount and there wasn’t anything noticeable. But it definitely does the trick if you need a simple replacement
This is between a solid mount (much stiffer) and just over the oem mount in terms of sound/vibration. This is a factory Subaru part which improves stiffness, yet doesn't give up comfort like some of the other models.
This mount coupled with a positive shift kit cleaned up a lot of the slop left in the shifter (also have bushings and shift stop installed). Easy to install, just make sure to support the tranny when the cross members are off. Also beware of the 17mm bolts, theyve occasionally been known to strip and huge pain if it happens (although rare). Despite slightly more transmission whine at lows speeds, can't recommend enough.
I installed this along with the billet works short shift kit and positive shift kit. Gah damn this made a huge difference. Tightened up the slop and reduces the pitch from high rpm pulls. You also get a bit of transmission noise which I found super cool!
This was unfortunately one of the last upgrades from the stock wrx to sti I made. Rear differential inserts, differential carrier inserts, even the cross member bushings and then this mount. I'm a fool, I should've started here!
Installed on a 2021 WRX. Paired this with the torque solutions billet positive shift kit and made a huge difference. Hard to exactly explain how it changed but it made the bite point easier to feel and it’s a bit more predictable. Low speed bucking is still there but not nearly as bad. Was having an issue where shifting from 1st to 2nd under heavy acceleration, it wouldn’t always go into gear smoothly but this cleaned it up.
Trans whine is a lot more prominent (also have torque solutions pitch stop mount) but it’s not too loud. Pretty audible in 1-4 gears with windows up but barely noticeable with windows down.
Install is easy if you’re prepared and have the torque specs, sockets, etc ready to go. I’m not very experienced with working on cars but with quick jack setup and tool gathering I was able to do it in about an hour and a half. Can easily be done in under an hour if you’ve got experience. Well worth the price IMO
Night and day difference when added with white line bushings, much more predictable clutch release notice minor vibration when accelerating at low speeds but no noticeable nvh at higher speeds, no directions come with but not hard to figure out by yourself
Nothing flashy about this mod but you’ll notice a big difference in the drivability of your wrx!
Install wasnt too bad just make sure you support the transmission with a jack before you take the brace off. Did this and the whitelines positive shift kit so can’t really speak for just this part, but the shifting is much more precise and confident. Like everyone else on here I recommend doing both at the same time. It’s hard to tell how much more noise it adds because my car is already so loud but I do feel slightly more vibration through the stick and pedals. It’s not a negative though I enjoy it. Much less jerking in 1st gear as the transmission is much more secure so that’s a huge plus. One of the best bangs per buck upgrade for sure.
Makes a nice difference in the shifting, less movement and less jerkiness as you're shifting. Did this together with the whiteline bushings, might as well do both at the same time since they work better together and you’re already going to have access to them. Also the shipping time was awesome, I think it was about 2 days to receive
