HKS Hi-Power SPEC-L Cat Back Exhaust Subaru BRZ / Toyota GR86 2022-2025 | 32016-BT004

Ever since I heard one in person I knew this was the exhaust to have. Fitment is perfect too, the only downside (for me) is there is no HKS branding on the mufflers, or anywhere... But the Spec L2 does, oh well. It's an excellent sounding exhaust, not too loud but you can definitely hear it. Cold starts are a bit loud and bassy but once it warms and idles down, it's very tame, bassy and more noticeable that the car is on. I paired mine with the JDL UEL Catted header, the rumble is perfect and in high rpms the car absolutely screams!! I did a lot of research and listening to videos, chasing the perfect tone, and I'm pretty certain it's this. Also it pops when downshifting and free revving anywhere between 2-4k rpms!! Now I just need the front and over pipes lol.

My purchase criteria for the exhaust was that i wanted a deeper rumble without making the car too loud while not being too expensive. This one is it. It does dome nice little pop and burble at around 3-4k rpm too, i’m sure that can be emphasized with a UEL header.

It's a little loud on start up but I love the tone of the exhaust and that I can hear it while driving with the windows
