If you want loud and crazy this is it, it's very loud once you get on it, but very good and tame when cruising around. Running this with High flow cats and a resonated Y pipe and it's still pretty wild. But overall it's a good quality exhaust build and fitment wise, this will require you to do a bumper tuck.
Product itself looks well made, clean welds looks good on the car no issues.. its darn loud if you arent looking to be crazy loud id suggest a different exhaust.. with that said I've never herd it with OEM cats... my full setup is stock header, megan test pipes, isr y, isr ep dual.. very loud and a lot of drone.. considered putting oem exhaust back on until i get batter test pipes but im dealing with it..
I bought an 08 Nismo and couldn't believe how tame and silent the OEM exhaust was so I knew I had to make an upgrade even if it was temporary. I eventually will replace this with a Tomei but I still want others to know what they're getting into with the ISR. The sound is pretty aggressive but at the same time very "lean" if you can understand that. There is absolutely no rasp with this exhaust (when hooked up to an OEM y-back and cats/headers). This exhaust is almost like a switched system because when you're off the throttle you can barely hear it. The idle will bring out the VQ characteristic without being too obnoxious. In 5th and 6th gear on the highway just cruising you can't hear much of anything. The only drawback to the noise level is 3k-4.5k RPM has SUPER bad drone. I mean like its probably going to be a deal breaker for a lot of people. I've had a loud exhaust on every car I've ever owned so I don't mind it but my friend was taken back when he heard it. It mellows out after 4.5k RPM so it's temporary. You have to remember the drone is only heard by people inside the car, so outsiders only hear VQ noises. The fitment is pretty spot on. Very easy install, just remember to use ALL of the hardware. The nuts will feel like they thread on the OEM y-back bolts but they become impossible to tighten about halfway down, so remember to use the provided bolts. Also, this WILL fit a Nismo bumper. I like it alot for my first axle back exhaust. It sounds alot better outside of the than inside though, it's seems to drone inside the car at 2900-3000 rpm. Overall good product and would recommend
