Subaru JDM Dual Console Arm Rest Extension Charcoal Gray WRX 15-25 / STI 15-21 | J2017FG000MG

I tried the OEM armrest extension, and while it’s nice and sits a little more forward (slightly more ergonomic) than this model, it’s less aesthetic and doesn’t offer a second compartment like this one does. I ended up sending the Subaru one back and stuck with the JDM model instead.

Straight from Subaru in Japan. Excellent quality, perfect fit. Very easy install. Since you use your original armrest all the stitching etc. matches. Raises the armrest to a usable position. Same height as the door armrest. Feels a little different / elbow has to go over it when shifting, but finding it's actually helpful, as your elbow can sit on the armrest while shifting in 2, 4 & 6. And the extra storage is great.

This was super easy to install, fits and works great!

The fact that Subaru didn't include this with the car is asinine. Finally makes the armrest tall enough to actually use and the same height as the door armrest. I know the extension makes it the same height, but storage!

This went on easily and the extended cover from Subaru fits too. Though I am ordering a cushion from Amazon for it. The inner joint on my elbow is in the wrong position on the hard cover.

The color matches more than close enough.

Install takes minutes. The interior is the perfect size for sunglasses. Raises the arm rest height to just about the perfect height (for me anyway).

One of my biggest issues with the WRX was the low center console. I honestly bought this soley for the added height but after installing it, I definitely love the added storage space. The retractable platform adds even more height for comfortable highway driving in 5th and 6th gear. This is a must buy.

I'm a tall guy and very much love the taller arm rest.

Raises the center console enough to comfortably rest your arm on it while providing additional storage. Very easy to install and well worth the money.
