K&N Drop In Replacement Air Filter Subaru WRX 2022-2025 / Forester 2019-2022 | 33-5064

At first after I put it in my Subaru WRX 2023 I have not noticed any improvement. I have JB4 tune, so I went on a track and spent about 40 min on tune AFR. It was significantly off after filter install.

After change fuel map to get good AFR I got significant improvement over stock filter.

Conclusion: If you cannot tune AFR it does not mke sense to install this filter.

Much better quality than the cheap factory paper filter. Makes just a little bit more noise too. Wil always be my first mod!

Definitely recommend this air filter for anyone looking to add some HP without a tune. Will it be a noticeable difference, probably not. But combine this with a few other mods and you will see a marginal increase in performance. I can also hear my turbo working now after installing and removing the charcoal filter.

Installation is super easy and doesn’t require any tools! Just be sure read the maintenance tips from K&N as this filter needs to be cleaned and re-oiled over time.
