The Kartboy Rear Differential Outrigger Bushings for the 02-07 WRX & STi will eliminate alot of excess play associated with the soft stock rear differential bushings under hard acceleration and on/off throttle loads. I have a 97 outback project that im stiffening up.
Super simple install, 6 bolts total and slapping the bushings/shims in. And no need to remove the outrigger or press out old bushings, these just sand which everything and hold it in place. Before you could move the outrigger by hand, after it stays in place. Originally installed because I put a DSS aluminum shaft in my car and even after “massaging” a lot it would hit things on hard acceleration. No longer contacts anything even launching or powering on out of a corner.
Combined with some other driveline bushings, these really help firm up the car.
