Subaru produced license plate panels for a number of their past vehicles. This inspired us to have our very own panel. This one fills the large painted portion of your lower trunk. It looks great and fits the spacer perfectly.
The panel changes the shape of your rear end and adds a nice contrasting color / pattern as well.
Instructions
Prep the application area by removing your license plate and making sure your vehicle's paint is clean and free from wax, ceramic coating and anything else that may interfere with the 3M.
Find an environment between 70-85 degrees. Hold the panel up to the desired installation area first to test fit. Then pull the ends of the 3M protector film up enough so that you can grab them once you realign the plate to the vehicle. Hold up the plate to the vehicle and remove all the 3M protector films. Press firmly on the plate in all areas that have tape for a minute. In 24 hours the tape will achieve 90% bonding strength. 100% is achieved after a total of 72 hours.

If you’re a fan of carbon fiber, then this is for you. A great way to spruce up your trunk, without getting a new trunk. Easy install, but adds a little extra weight to the trunk.
This changes the rear end of the car for the better.
Perfect fit! Easy to install
Looks amazing. Had a rough time getting it to stick down completely but think I finally got it after some folded cloth and bar clamps. Left them on while heating. After a couple of days I took off and it seems to have stuck down. I was being told it was weather but I’m still not sure why this isn’t contoured to the trunk to begin with.
Also license plate holes don’t line up all that great. I was told this was so the screws can pull the trunk plate nice and tight but I was also told to not tighten too tight until 3M adheres. Also there is only so far up this can go so not sure how the screws pull it even further up?
At the end of the day it looks great and as long as it stays put I guess we are good
Judging by the picture its pretty cold there, it says to use it on hot days to get the promoter to adhere :)
So...IRR has done it again.
I admit I did not like the price at first. I am not the type of person to spend ALOT of body parts unless it changes the look dramatically. To each on their own.
So I was like whatever, I bought this because the pictures and the videos convinced. But man...I was BLOWN AWAY. I expected it to be some thin, piece of plastic carbon fiber for the trunk.
NOPE. It was THICK and sturdy. It really isn't just some piece of thin plastic. It was sturdy and thick and 9.9/10 fit. I was impressed and now figured out the justification of the price.
Looks amazing. Really makes the car pop out.

This carbon fiber license plate backing looks so clean on the ceramic white vb’s!! So happy to have put this on and had a badge in carbon fiber to throw on and complete the look.

This is my first carbon fiber part… i am very skeptical with carbon fiber, but man i have no regrets! It makes my car pop out and it changes the car completely!
