Installation
This install only requires a 12mm socket and wrench to knock out. Use out photos to check the correct alignment of the brackets. You will need to prop up your hood during the install.
Use the factory bolts to install the brackets and then connect the gas struts with the gas tube towards the top.
Had an issue with a bent strut after an accident jacked up my hood. This was the last piece I needed to make the car feel whole again and it didn't cost an arm and leg! Good stuff!
Slightly different set up than the carbon five version but this still helped with overall accessibility of the engine compartment and keeping a clean look.
Gives a much nicer oem feel, don’t stop your wrench in the fender flare though.
