Key Features
Once you go wireless with your Carplay, you probably won't go back. We're busy people and just like to get in our vehicles and drive. This removes the step of having to connect a physical cable to your phone.
Connect the adapter using the supplied cable to a USB data port on your vehicle. Follow the instructions for the initial setup. From then on, everything will be automatic when you get in your vehicle.
FOR BEST RESULTS:
Upgrade your vehicle's factory infotainment software to the most recent version available. This product has a proven work exceptionally well; however, some customers may encounter convenience issues and delays when using it alongside outdated radio software. You have the option to have this task carried out by your certified local dealership, or in certain situations, you may even perform the upgrade yourself. If you experience any difficulties with connectivity or maintaining a connection, kindly ensure that your vehicle's software is up-to-date with the latest version.
NOTES: This only works with vehicles that have Carplay/AA from the factory. It removes the requirement for a wired USB connection. It will not work on vehicles that do not have Carplay/AA compatibility already. Securing the device is important to prevent the cable from disconnecting.

Great investment and finally happy to get rid of the wired cord to be able to use the android auto. I highly recommend it, simple to use. Be sure to delete your car from your Bluetooth memory out your phone first before plugging in the device

I had a previous android auto adapter from Amazon but hated how bulky it was, I love that this is compact.
Super simple mod to help you get access to android auto/ car play without the need for a cord. Works great!!
I have the limited wrx and this works as good as or better than the wired android auto.. i keep it plugged in, when I fire up the engine it starts just as fast (or faster than the wired). When i need to charge the phone, its better to unplug the adapter and use the wired android auto, otherwise it gets annoying.. its pretty cool technology it connects via Bluetooth but streams data via wifi so i was worried it would kill my battery but not really as long as your phone screen is off. Sometimes it disconnects but that's Subarus problem not the adapter, bc the wired android auto would disconnect randomly too. Its not that often, and if it does, I just unplug it then replug it and that works.
