If you’re purchasing the intake, you definitely need to make sure to also purchase this heat shield. Just a few bolts and install is completed.
I really think this should just come with the intake as I don't know why you would have one without it. Not sure how much heat it keeps out but any is a win as far as I'm concerned. Install was a piece of cake and took 5 minutes.
Fast shipping, everything included to install. Took about 5mins. It does pair up with my AMS intake without any rubbing. Definitely helped with getting the intake temps down!
