Little tricky to tighten the tops bolts without removing the shield, but it's doable. This reduces / eliminates the jerkiness from 1st gear at a low speed and tightens up the driveshaft.
Great improvement on the drive shaft. Holds it tight. Worth every penny.
Highly highly recommend, I didn't install it but had a shop do it. With that being said , instant notice, every time I chose a Perrin product it truly makes the car more responsive . If you live In NYC , then you know the FDR , which is notorious for rally stage likeness lol. I use to feel hobble under the seat, and now? nothing. Even under hard driving, 10/10.
I have a lift to work on so the install on this wasn't too bad, but removing the heat shield over the exhaust was a pain. End result is exactly as its advertised. All the slop is gone from the shaft bushing making up for the torque thats normally lost
Good quality part, easy install
When you start increasing power of your VB(which I highly recommend) you should also make sure that the car handles the improved power, definitely get this and feel the difference. Worth way more than the price listed in my opinion.

Pair this with Perrin driveshaft carrier bearings, pitch stop, positive shift kit, & group n trans mount to clean up almost 100% of the sloppiness you get in the OEM transmission/driveline hardware and mounts. Also highly recommend the short throw shift kit from Billetworkz as well!! All of these make a night and day difference compared to stock!!
I instantly noticed a difference in the firmness of the drivetrain in low gears. Pretty easy and straightforward install. Would recommend.
Kind of a pain to torque the small button head bolts to spec without stripping them out but I think I might switch em to regular socket cap screws, besides that noticeably smoother shifts when not exactly at shift point
