Bolted right up sounds great

This will give you a deeper note rather than throaty like larger diameter, you also won't really get pops.

I do really like the sound since exhaust diameter not only runs cooler because it maintains some back pressure but creates natural alternating resonance pulses similar to the old Subby rumble. But don't expect it to sound like it.

The reason I docked a star is because cold starts, this is the loudest exhaust I've ever had. The aforementioned deeper note while decibels lower than larger diameter is perceived louder and resonates off everything. If you have a townhouse or apartment, not great for keeping friendships but that can be worked around if it applies ro you.

Install was super easy. New gaskets and bolts included. Old ones out, new in, done. No new hangers included, I suggest variable height kind. Did mine with only a 3.5" lift in the rear but wasn't strictly needed. Could probably done with the car on the ground.

Overall very happy with the new exhaust.

Like other reviews, this exhaust is pretty loud. However, it really capitalizes on the deep rumble of the WRX. Super satisfying sound to listen to while driving. Might I add, the POPS this exhaust alone adds. I have a manual so I’m unsure if automatic transmission pop potential, but I have pops on shifts up and down. Super satisfying. Recommend if you don’t mind the loudness!

Quick and fast shipping on item from IIR, then FedEx got it and misplaced item and was shipped 4 days later. Loud on cold starts and smooth when driving and warmed up, not very loud but noticeable, fitment was good and install was easy, just use wd-40 for the hangers for easier R&I.

Been wanting to make my WRX louder and more fun. I went with the titanium blue tips due to the stainless being sold out but they were on sale at the same price so I think the choice was obvious. My car being WRB matches with the blue tips beautifully. At an amazing price the quality is there. PLM does not disappoint. I’ll be getting the mid pipes later to complete the full exhaust.

Cold start is LOUD!!!!! I like it. It doesn't bother me, my neighbors on the other hand.... haha. Install was super simple. 4 bolts & 2 gaskets.

The axle-backs look good and sound great. The only downfall is the hanger positions. I had to change bends in the hangers to install the exhaust so that there was recommended space around the exhaust from the bumper.

For the money, they are very good. I love the sound and they were easy to install. Unfortunately, the driver’s side was so close to the bumper that it melted a little. I caught it quick and bought some longer hangers which did the trick. Overall, I’m very happy.

Easy to instal and it sounds amazing! Pops sound amazing and no drone.
