Many Subie owners experience a burning oil problem or blue smoke coming from their exhaust after installing aftermarket J-Pipes or turboback exhaust systems. Installing these parts on 2015+ WRX's or 2014+ Forester XT's causes a change in exhaust pressure, allowing engine oil to escape out the turbo seals. This leaks into the exhaust creating the burning oil smell and blue smoke that many people see.
Fix both the burning oil smell and blue exhaust smoke problems by installing the PERRIN Turbo Sump Restrictor!

After putting this little piece in the smoke after my j pipe installed immediately stopped the smell still there but it has decreased

After I got a Grimmspeed GESI V2 to replace my Invidia pipe, I started to get some smoking issues on startup. This restrictor massively reduced the smoke and was pretty easy to install. Worth a shot for the price if you are having similar issues!
This got rid of any oil smell that resided in my car. The installation took me only like 10 minutes and is a fantastic preventative modification for your WRX.
