I got a 2021 STI and the stock exhaust is just disappointing to be honest. Coming from a fully built straight piped 05 WRX with an EWG that I daily drove for 2 years, I needed to hear some sort of exhaust. I’m very picky though. The exhaust has to sound and look good and in my opinion the Remark axle back is both of those. Quad tips over single exit for sure! I prefer the single wall design over double wall. This axle back is what the stock exhaust should have sounded like from factory. It’s not that loud (considering I’m used to hearing catless subarus on a daily basis). There’s no drone. It sounds smooth and has a very nice tone to it. It brings out the notorious rumble that everyone wants. This is a great sounding exhaust and I would definitely recommend this to someone who is not full race car mode, who occasionally has passengers or kids in the car.. This axle back is what my STI needed, but if I keep modifying my car, I might want something louder. For now I’m happy with it.

I ordered this for my 2019 STI and it's exactly what I was going for. Cheap but great product. Really gets that rumble out!

I changed my order midstream and purchased the 4” Remark Double Wall Burnt tip muffler deletes. The install of the pipes was super easy and only took about 45 minutes. The most time consuming was getting the original hangers off. Listen to everyone and use some type of spray lubricant to get them off easier. The pipes sound awesome and I can’t get enough of the sound. The 4” tips fit perfectly inside the wells and make the car look aggressive from behind. The burnt tips look great and match my Subie blue. These are quality products and would highly recommend to anyone who wants a great sound but not willing to make a catback change.

This axel back system is amazing. I wanted something cheaper that would give my STI a good note over stock and they nailed it. The install took 30 mins and my car now sounds better then cars that I have done full exhaust on. The welds are perfect and the fitment is spot on great quality and great price.

As always, import image racing has delivered yet another great part for my car. I always order from IIR because I’m in the Tampa area and they’re in fort Myers (about 2 hours away), and every time I place an order they pack it up so fast it’s not even funny and I usually get the package the very next day! I ordered these muffler deletes yesterday and they’re already on my car. As far as the muffler deletes go, they’re a great product and they sound just right; not too loud and not too quiet!

I wasn't sold on the concept of an axel-back; however, after purchasing my STI, i realized it needed more noise. After speaking with the guys at IIR, they were a great help and got them too me fast.

Product: The finish quality of these things is second to none. They came wrapped with more protection then a frat boy at a sorority house party. The blue tips are stunning and pair very well with the WRB paint on the STI. The welds on the brackets look perfect and the mounting locations were nicely centered in the cowls. Remark is definitely a contender for a quality exhaust on a budget.
