Will this have a heavier clutch pedal?
Yep, it'll be stiffer than stock. Definitely manageable for a daily driven vehicle. It will have a smooth engagement with mild clutch chatter.
First oem clutch went out at 6k miles due to factory defects. It's now going out again at 20k. Every vehicle I've driven for the past 20 years have been manuals and I've never had this issue. Decided to go this route since I had it on my 2011 wrx. This is a solid upgrade and not bad to drive with on a daily driven vehicle.
This clutch cannot only handle daily driving with ease but also spirited drives and track use! Over 50000 miles driven and still going strong
Solid upgrade over the weak stock clutch that let me down with just an intake and tune. If you prefer a light pedal this is not the clutch for you.
The product works as intended and i would buy again. But after talking to a couple shops about the nose it makes I should of got the cluch kit but with a six disk instead of a full disk. The full disk make nose. Not horrible and definitely Tolerable. I thought I did something wrong on the installation but come to find out full disk with a higher power kit you will have this problem. Upgrade the disk to a 6 puck disk.
I put 15,000 miles on this clutch. 10,000 at 330 whp and 5,000 at 400 whp. I think I did 5 test and tune drag race nights on it with 5 or 6 runs each. Plus a lot of stop and go on the freeway. Easy pedal feel, holds power with no problems. It smells like nasty burnt clutch when launching and it's tricky to launch it just right. I replaced it with the same clutch.
Much better than my previous burnt up clutch, works great and will hold up to plenty of power.
This clutch holds way more power than the stock set up!
Time was coming to replace my clutch and flywheel. This kit is almost just as comfortable as stock but provides so much more drivability. It sticks and moves, and never misses.

Refs up faster than stock clutch. I would say it’s very aggressive compared to stock. But everything is super smooth, would recommend for anyone who’s upgrading. Very happy with it!
