Really great looking sti emblem with the cherry blossom red color. Just FYI I was able to install without removing the grill. It wasn't easy but it's doable.
OEM Subaru Japan STI Badge. Easy to install and you can’t beat OEM.
I bought this badge as I plan on making an homage/ STI S4 imitation as the Japanese market's last attempt at badging a WRX with STI officially on it but only in a GT (Automatic trim). This badge is exactly that though I have seen a JDM sport grille with the included STI made into that (I just prefer the American market OEM look over that). I would purchase this again knowing the quality and look of this mold now. the cons listed below are incredibly minimal for what they are.
(The fifth picture below is the JDM OEM STI grille don't confuse it with the emblem on OEM grille)
Pros:
-Exactly as advertised
-looks identical to S4 badge
Cons:
- I don't love that you have to remove the bumper to install such a small badge but if you were to remove and change out the grille this would be the same circumstantial situation.
-I would prefer bolt provided instead of self-taping screws for the backing of the emblem but this doesn't appear to be an issue as long as you don't plan on multiple uses (which you shouldn't)
