After a few months finally getting ready for my protune, i had my local speedshop install my ELH. they are great, sound great though one big flaw to the install. I've contacted Tomei and they verified this to be an issue as well.
They only tested these new headers and the UEL with the Stock OEM J-pipe. i have a Cobb Resonated Catted J-pipe and with these both installed it pushes the j-pipe. too close to the Suspension Wall. which when you crank the Engine under load when hot could cause the headers to bend prematurely from the j-pipe pressing against the wall. I was told to cut and put a 3 inch flex in my J-pipe to combat this issue. After The 3 inch flex weld was installed everything fits nice and snug. The Part Does it justice after a tune gaining a decent amount of power. but i was bummed about having to cut my new J-pipe. right out of the gate. different J-pipes may vary but this is the fitment that's noticed with cobbs Jpipe. so be mindful.
