Torque Solution short throw shifter is a direct replacement for your long throw stock unit. No expense was spared in the production and design of this shifter. We chose CNC'd stainless steel due to the corrosion resistance / strength and tig welded in a precision jig.

I switched out from the OEM shifter and it’s been a great experience. I paired the short throw with a 700g weighted shift knob and each gear shift has a nice click. It’s the same satisfying feeling as getting a rusty bolt loose. I would highly recommend it.
This is a key component if you wanna have those nice mechanical short shift. It is extremely easy to install and feels OEM plus for sure. Would also recommend to get a new shift bushing for the ball just in case you break the old one because it is very common to break. This is a must have product.

I had one of these short shifters in my 350z and knew that I wanted one for the 370z. Surprising, there isn’t any information on the forums regarding this mod (or at least none that I found) but it’s a shame because this is one of the best mods you can have that will truly transform the feel of the driving experience. I would highly recommend one for any 370z owner and pair it with a solid shift knob of your preference.
I just installed my short shifter a few days ago weirdly enough I have no problem getting into reverse it’s insanely hard to get into 5th and 6th gear, I actually have to muscle it pretty hard to the right to get it in there but other than that this is the best thing I’ve ever bought. Any ideas on why it’s hard to get to 5th and 6th

This thing feels like loading a bolt action .50 cal. Do you want your shifts short? Notchy? Concise? Then this is the way to go. Get a weighted shift knob tho
The feeling greatly improved compared to stock. Everything is much tighter now and the feedback of shifting it into the next gear is awesome. Am loving my daily again.
