The Velossa Tech BIG MOUTH Ram Air Intake Snorkel for your 22-23 Subaru WRX is the go-to mod for a boost in performance that complements the added aggressive look.
The BIG MOUTH is strategically designed to bolt directly onto your inlet cowl where air pressure recovery can be maximized and directly feed your current aftermarket or stock airbox with higher pressure air. It is the same concept as driving below sea level where the air pressure is higher, except you are able to generate higher inlet pressures with a properly designed ram duct. Increasing the inlet absolute pressure to your engine has profound effects on performance such as increases in mass air flow, reduction in wastegate duty cycle for turbo vehicles, and reduced inlet and charge temps. On top of all that awesome performance comes the BIG MOUTH growl and sinister stare, it sounds and looks great!

Installation
Installation can be done with basic hand tools. Each BIG MOUTH Ram Air kit includes all of the hardware necessary for the installation, as well as straightforward instructions. Support is also available to help guide you if any questions arise.

Over all it’s nice. Fitment took a while with having to cut the radiator cover.

Extremely easy to install and looks good
It looks pretty cool, comes in variety of colors. The instructions were extremely clear and made absolutely sure to include a tiny modification being required for the radiator shroud. Absolutely not an issue whatsoever.
Super easy install. Slightly more noise, and got my boost up just a tiny bit. More pleased with the aesthetic it created with my Ceramic White color matched grill! Happy customer here!

So i got this from a different source as a christmas present, but wanted to promote IRR and their products. Yes…i was scared that it wasnt going to fit due to the radiator brace and the hella horns. But it fit. A little tight and some elbow grease but it fits. I am sure water will not get in (if you live in heavy rain area like washington or florida like me).
Be forewarned though. Order the aftermarket grille for more visibility and air induction. Mines coming soon but ah wells.
Very well made piece by velossa tech, really easy install just follow instructions…paired with a cold air intake(ets v2 on mines) works really well def can feel a better throttle response…also if you have OEM grille you cant see it much.
