Have not installed this one yet but installed one in my 2015 WRX and easy and does provide more feedback of the steering.
Really tightened up the steering from that 1 inch or so of play to either side. Doesn't make steering overly sensitive either.
This makes a pretty good addition to tightening down drivetrain and suspension mounts. It was a little tricky getting the correct angles to reach the steering column, be careful with the coolant lines if your car is still warm. It does make a slightly noticeable difference in steering, makes the “play” less soft.
Hard af to put on without a lift but manageable. I suggest just having a shop do it if you can't get under your car easily enough. But once installed it made a noticeable difference in steering tightness
Definitely notice less playing in the steering wheel !
An amazing and simple upgrade with a HUGE difference. I used this product on my 2016 Forester XT and just blown away with the results.
Absolutely love this product! The steering feel is much tighter and direct. I highly recommend this for a more sporty steering feel.
Great product…reduces play to about an inch in the steering wheel. Install from below the car was much easier than the instructions!
There is simply no downside to this product. The only advice I can give about installation is a second set or hands. Otherwise, you need to constantly turn the wheel to orient the steering rack for installation both through the engine bay and underneath.
